Workshops & In-Store Experiences
Alpenglö Living offers a variety of home, garden, culinary, and craft related workshops and in-store DIY experiences in the Leavenworth area. Come gather around our table, learn a new skill, meet a new friend and share in our community.
Upcoming In-Store Experiences:
Alpenglö Garden Club:
We are starting a Garden Club and we hope you'll join us! It is free and open to anyone willing to learn, share knowledge and build a community around gardening. It will be every Monday from 5-6pm through the summer. We will discuss a different topic each week and will be featuring special guest speakers. We will gather at the shop, so come with any questions you have and we can't wait to meet other garden enthusiasts!
July 7th: Pruning, trellising and training techniques.
July 14th: Brittany Thurlow from the Plant Ally will share her herbalism knowledge and teach us how to dry herbs and use them in vinegars and teas.
July 21st: All things flowers, from growing to arranging.
July 28th: Rachel Burgoon from Feathers and Flowers Farm from Wenatchee will be discussing what life is like as a farmer! Come with questions about flowers, veggies, animal husbandry and farm life.
August 4th: No meeting
August 11th: TBD
August 18th: Book Club Meeting (see details below)
Along with talking all things garden we thought it would be fun to add in a book club to discuss topics with a bit more intention. Our first book will be The Comfort of Crows, by Margaret Renkl - we will discuss on August 18th during Garden Club. Come join the conversation!
The other dates and topics are TBD - send us a note if there is anything you would like to discuss or learn more about!
